Dr. Kavian Milani

Dr. Milani is an ardent student, teacher, and practitioner of evidence-based medicine, a system of medical evidence verification that allows its practitioner to remain up-to-date by independently verifying the outcomes of clinical trials.

In a landscape flooded with data from potentially biased sources, his commitment to rigorous analysis ensures truly patient-centered care. Dr. Milani is well known in the medical community and the community at large. He has received ‘Top Doctor’ status in prestigious Washingtonian and Northern Virginia Magazines for several years and has been named one of Consumers’ Checkbook Magazine’s top rated primary care physicians. Dr. Milani has a strong interest in human rights and has launched the Center for Health and Human Rights to make healthcare accessible to vulnerable populations. The Department of Homeland Security designates him as a Civil Surgeon.

Passionate about equity in healthcare, Dr. Milani launched the Center for Health and Human Rights to expand access for vulnerable populations. He is fluent in Farsi and English, and has a working knowledge of Arabic.
