Hamid Taheri, MD

Dr. Taheri is a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist and Assistant Professor of Medicine at George Washington University. With more than 20 years of clinical experience, he specializes in complex coronary and peripheral interventions and is part of Inova’s Structural Heart Team. Beyond the cath lab, Dr. Taheri is an active leader — serving as Chairman of the Invasive Cardiology Committee, participating in operational strategy groups, and directing ambulatory research. He is the Principal Investigator for several clinical trials, with a keen focus on advancing treatment through pharmacological and device innovations. Dr. Taheri lives in Oakton, VA with his wife and two daughters.
